Because SURE - we have some of the BEST shows here at Nob Hill all season long, filled with concerts galore and once in a lifetime moments in store. But what truly makes every night so magical - is the people! And of course : us fans coming through, too! We all work hand in hand every night we are watching our fav bands - and THIS time around when The Avett Bros and Mike Patton come around - well, it’s no WONDER they’re stealing the crown! Right here on Friday May 8th for their Avtt/Pvtt Tour 2026, which has been sweeping the continent for the past WEEKS - and has finally made its way to us on the bay for our Finally Friday treats. Buckle up folks - we got a show to get to! 

The Avett Brothers are an American folk-rock band from Concord, North Carolina, formed in 2000 by brothers Scott and Seth Avett alongside bassist Bob Crawford and cellist Joe Kwon. They emerged from earlier projects of trial and error to make the Avett Brothers - and from there quickly carved out a unique sound blending folk, bluegrass, country, punk, and rock, drawing praise for heartfelt lyrics and high-energy live shows. Critically acclaimed albums such as Emotionalism and their major-label breakthrough I and Love and You propelled them into stardom - and the rest was history from then on. Earning multiple Americana awards and Grammy nominations, over the years they’ve continued evolving their sound with records like The Carpenter and a self-titled 2024 release, and in 2025 teamed up with Mike Patton for the AVTT/PTTN project and tour 

Mike Patton is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for his astonishing vocal range and genre-defying projects. Born in 1968 in Eureka, California, he first gained notice as lead vocalist for the experimental band Mr. Bungle, which he formed in the mid-1980s. In 1988 he joined the alternative metal band Faith No More, helping propel their 1989 album The Real Thing and its hit “Epic” to international success. And now - he’s back on tour with our early 2000s boys, ready to tell the tales that were just too good to get lost in the 80s.
